Staging Sells House!
We were living in Toronto and looking to purchase a house in the Kingston area. The moment I saw the pictures on MLS I was in love with the house. Out of all the listings we looked at this one stood out the most because of the staging. The staging made it easier for us to picture living there. The quality of the staging materials made the house look like it should be in a higher price range. I knew as soon as I walked in the door this was the house I wanted to buy and did. I am a custom builder and renovator in Simcoe County and have been established for many years. I had purchsed a dilapidated home in Innisfil to fix up and resell. Jean was referred to me from a business associate as someone who could help me with my "fixer upper" in Innisfil.
Jean was great to work with. At the start of the project, I did not realize all that Jean was capable of looking after for me. She charged a reasonable rate and provided services that included: colour consultations and designs, arranging furniture rental, providing a handy man to do odd jobs before the staging that was imperative to have done, and providing plants and accessories to spruce up the vacant property.
It took less than 2 months to sell the property after listing. We put it up for sale in November and it sold in December. I was very impressed by Jean's positive work attitude and accomplishments of the home selling in December.
I expect to use Jean's services again for our colour consultation, decorating and staging needs.
