Q. Everyone's definition of success is different; what does being successful mean to you?
A. Success to me is being able to wake up every day and do what I really love to do.
Q. What do you feel is you or your company's biggest achievement since taking the CSP Course?
A. When I signed on with who is now one of the top #1 producing Real Estate teams in Canada as their exclusive Home Stager. I secured enough income plus potential income to fit my business goals for many years to come.
Q. What did you do before embarking on the life of a Certified Staging Professional?
A. Well over the course of many years, I have dabbled in jobs that have allowed me to practise and expand my creative abilities. Seventeen years ago- to this date, I embarked on a position in a full service dental laboratory as a Dental Ceramist, also a very creative and artistic job.
Q. What did your friends or family think about your decision of starting a staging business?
A. At the time- staging was unfamiliar to most of them. However, they knew I had a passion for design and being creative, so I had support all the way and continue to receive it unconditionally.
Q. If you could give advice to someone considering entering the staging industry what would it be?
A. If it’s truly their passion, then to go for it! And stick with it; because success does not happen overnight.
Q. If you could give advice to a Certified Staging Professional who hasn't quite made it to "success" yet, what would you tell them?
A. Continue to plug away. Do “something” stage related each day so that your mind is in the right frequency for what you would really want to be doing.
