Kelly PeletierCCSP® Q. Everyone's definition of success is different; what does being successful mean to you?
A. I don't think it's about having set rules and goals and once you've achieved them your successful. I think it's more about your well being inside you. Acknowledging your own happiness, that you feel right about what you decide to do and do everything honestly and right.Q. What do you feel is you or your company's biggest achievement since taking the CSP Course?
A. My biggest achievement is that I never quit or gave up. I held onto the courage to go forward no matter what. I found ways for what I didn't know..I found answers to questions etc. I learned more about my strengths and weaknesses. Q. What did you do before embarking on the life of a Certified Staging Professional?
A. I completed criminal and Investigator courses. Survived a moderate brain injury which changed my career. The best part of my brain is the visual part so this type of work fits me perfectly. Q. What did your friends or family think about your decision of starting a staging business?
A. Most people didn't know what Home Staging was. Some laughed and thought I was crazy while others said to try it. I was too excited and my energy was too positive to have anyone change my mind! Q. If you could give advice to someone considering entering the staging industry what would it be?
A. If it's in your passion and soul you'll find true happiness in all the work you do. It's a great feeling helping customers while using your talent, skills, knowledge, training and creative thinking. Q. If you could give advice to a Certified Staging Professional who hasn't quite made it to "success" yet, what would you tell them?
A. Have a positive attitude and be persistent. Be successful in your mind, know that you have talent to do this or you wouldn't have come down this path in the first place. So get behind your own wheel and drive ahead with your inner strength to continue ahead in your future plans. Q. What would you tell a potential student as the BEST thing about being a CSP is?
A. The best by far is the opportunity to learn and train with the best company in the world. CSP made it possible for me to achieve my dream so far and continuing. CSP offers great on going support, training and resources that I've used to help me get through. CSP is Excellence and Professional in business, with a high honor and ethics.
