Our house in Kingston was put on the market in May and we moved out of province in August. We had many showings; probably more than 30, however we still did not have one offer by the end of September which was pretty frustrating. Our realtor felt our house was very fairly priced. Our Realtor recommended Patricia stage our home at the end of September, so we agreed. The biggest difference our realtor noticed at the open house after the staging was people lingered much longer. Our house first went on the market in the spring. We didn’t have any purchase offers, and by autumn we had to move leaving our house vacant.
