This room was treated as a play room and was difficult to imagine as a family room. All the toys were packed and one of the sofas stored away. Only a few accent pieces were required to make an impact and to create a more sophisticated family room.

Creating a warm first impression is crucial and is achieved here by adding a fresh coat of paint in neutral colours, adding art and having the carpet professionally cleaned and floors refinished.

By dismantling the play structure, ready to move to its new home, the backyard now appears much more spacious. Tree/shrub trimming and grass reseedling improved the overall appearance.
