Staging is my passion. It is more than a job. Preparing a property for sale is more than a few toss cushions. It requires compassion, creativity, understanding the real estate market, patience and organization.
Creative Touch Interiors has a wonderful team of qualified and experienced stagers. We work hard but have fun while doing the job.
As one of the first stagers to earn my designation, I know how important it is to work with someone in order to learn. CSP is the first, and possibly the only, designation with a mentorship programme. This was not available when I graduated and I wish that it had existed. I learned by trial and error and by networking with other stagers we built our businesses by working together. We never thought that we were competitors. We believed in eachother and wanted to see eachother succeed.
The mentoring programme has allowed me to meet wonderful apprentices. Many of my team members came from the mentoring programme. I believe that you learn from doing, so when you are on a job with me you do it.
I was voted the CSP Mentor of the Year 2006. I am very honoured to have received this award. I look forward to working with those of you who would like to apprentice with me. I wish all the new graduates great success with their new businesses.
