After completing a certification in floral design from the New York Botanical Garden, she interned and freelanced for a top New York City Florist for several years. Nairn adds this specialty to all her staging projects and strongly believes that floral design should be an essential component of staging. While living in Montreal, Nairn earned an MBA and was an award-winning university lecturer. She has served as a Director on the Boards of her former co-op, The Canadian Women’s Club of New York and Concordia University Alumni Tri-State Chapter. She has recently become a Regional VP of RESA. Nairn and her husband live in New York and her son, Scott, lives in Minneapolis. She makes regular trips to Montreal to visit her mother and now to train new Canadian Staging Professionals.
